Course Description

Pre-requisites

Students are placed in the appropriate year 11 maths course based on the results of their topic tests, e-asTTle and overall teacher judgement results from year 10.


11MATE is a comprehensive and engaging mathematics course designed to strengthen students' mathematical proficiency while ensuring thorough preparation for the numeracy corequisite assessment. This course incorporates two internal and one external achievement standard, each carrying a weightage of 5 credits. By completing this course, students will enhance their mathematical proficiency and attain thorough preparation for the numeracy corequisite assessment.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

There is a $30 course fee that covers the subscription to Education Perfect, which is our e-learning platform and NZGrapher.
It is essential that each student has a scientific calculator in addition to a book (such as a 1E5 QB Maths Book) to write notes in.
