Course Description

Pre-requisites

Students are placed in the appropriate maths class based on the results of their topic tests, end-of-year exam and e-asTTle results from year 9.


Year 10 Mathematics and Statistics covers Number, Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics.  Students work at levels 4 - 6 of the NZ curriculum with an emphasis on strengthening numeracy skills. They also have the opportunity to attempt an NCEA standard at level 6 to help them prepare for the senior school in year 11.
