This subjecy looks at how technologies can be merged together to form foundational learning skills through the application of authentic project-based learning. Technological design process and iterative development of a prototype is firmly embedded through ongoing engagement with external stakeholder(s). Students develop an understanding of how creativity emerges from risk taking, that communication techniques form an integral part in making informed decisions, working collaboratively to problem solve, and meeting end user requirements are essential when designing prototypes.
