Teacher in Charge: Mrs J. Dryden
This course is for students who have prior experience in Drama performance through school productions or outside drama classes such as Trinity, Howick Children’s/Youth Theatre. The course allows students to develop and extend their skills and technique through performance. It will strengthen and nurture students' interest and enjoyment of drama through kōrero, sharing ideas, perspectives, culture and identity to explore manaakitanga through drama processes and components. Students also have the opportunity to develop social and personal skills such as relating to others, self esteem and confidence which are key to personal growth. This will form the basis for drama as a subject in following years and enables them to design, create and perform drama individually, in small groups and as a class.
$10 for course books and resources.
