Pre-requisitesAn application form is available from the Careers Department. Preference will be given to students who have an idea of a suitable work placement for the Gateway programme.
This is a similar course to 12PTY. A combination of Level 2 and Level 3 credits are offered. This course offers students the opportunity to prepare themselves for work, apprenticeships or further study. All students are expected to produce a targeted Curriculum Vitae in preparation for work and to research a range of pathways. Students taking this course need to be prepared to do work experience to gain Gateway credits.

Students taking this course are expected to do work experience to gain Gateway credits or they can be enrolled in either the Business Administration course at MIT or the Business of Tourism course at International Travel College. These two courses are one day a week and offer up to 30 Level 3 credits.
