Pre-requisitesStudents must have 14 credits at Level 2 including at least an ACHIEVED for the external assessment 2.12 - Probability Methods to gain entry to this course and approval by the HOLA.
The 13 MAS course offers 20 credits at Level three. It consists of three Internal assessments, one compulsory and one optional external assessment. The compulsory Internal and external standards have a total of 16 credits. This course also offers an opportunity for subject endorsement and is a UE approved subject. The course offers Statistics standards. This course prepares students for their chosen pathway and/or tertiary level Statistics courses.
Note: For the external standard, a graphics calculator (fx-9750 GII or fx-9860 GIII) is highly recommended.

Revision of External standards
There is a $40 course fee that covers NZGrapher, online subscriptions and worksheets.
Optional - 1) It is recommended that students have the Nulake Statistics workbooks for practice of external standards($17) and internal standards($17)
which can be ordered via the school office.
2) Students can subscribe for Education Perfect (a digital learning platform) and get access to range of lessons, practice tasks, practice
assessments as well as past external papers.
Students MUST have their own Scientific/Graphics calculator (recommended by NZQA) and 1E5 Quad books.
Owing to teachers responding to individual students' needs, courses and NCEA standards taught in a subject maybe different to those displayed.
