Course Description

Pre-requisites

None.

Year 11 Design and Visual Communication teaches a wide range of drawing and presentation skills through a series of project briefs in the areas of Media design, Engineering, Environmental and Architectural Design. Students will be assessed as shown by the Matrix below, a core of 15 achievement standard credits and optional selection of extension standards offering up to an additional 10 credits subject to teacher confirmation.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$50 This includes the following stationery : Drawing Folder, A3 Printed Booklet, Drawing Board, T square, Compass, Colour Pencils, Eraser, Clips, HB/2H Pencils, 30/60º and 45º Set Squares, Ellipse And Circle Templates, coloured paper, card and model making materials.
