Year 10 Sports Humanities encourages students to actively learn about the implications of sport in relation to people, place and culture. This is done through exploring elements of History, Sociology, Geography, Tourism and Politics and other current social issues.
Learning through the Sport in Education programme helps students to learn using sporting contexts and philosophies while fostering a team environment in the classroom. Alongside this, students are learning to develop skills in literacy, research, collaboration, communication, sports leadership and how to actively participate in our wider community.
