Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs R. Higgins.

NCEA Level One Dance introduces choreographic processes and structure in performance and technical skill.  Students will be able to develop their own dance practices through group and duet work throughout the year.  Choreography, Performance and Perspective are presented this year into the course to emphasize the balance of practical and theoretical components of NCEA Dance.

 

Pre-requisites

Junior Dance taken at Year 10 and/or previous dance experience.
