Year 13 French (13FRE)

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms M. Gutierrez Ortuno.

This is a continuation and development of the Year 12 course and uses various themes of interest to students in order to reinforce language skills and aspects of French life and culture. Depending on the years and the interests of the students, literature may also be studied at this level.

•    Alternative travelling

 Theme 3: The Future    

•    Young people employment    

During the year, students have one exam as practice for the NCEA external standards, as well as working towards the grades of two internal assessments. 

Pre-requisites

An Achieved grade in each achievement standard in NCEA Level 2 French (or a proven ability to Year 12 level).

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$20 Online vocabulary learning (Education Perfect), $13 Grammar and Translation workbook (used for L1, L2, and L3) if not already acquired.

There may be other small costs relating to cultural events during the year, these are always optional.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
