Year 12 Science (12SCI)
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Henty
The course consists of five internally assessed Level 2 standards across a variety of topics that develop skills that are useful in many careers, not just work in a science field. The internal papers of 12SCI are demanding and require attendance and effort. Students will develop further skills in fair testing and investigations, as well as research and report writing.
12SCI allows for entry into 13SCI, which also has five internals and is a UE course.
If a student also chooses 12BIO be aware that there is one duplicated standard and therefore the optional paper in 12SCI may need to be done instead.
