Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
This course offers Unit Standards relevant to industry pathways and is targeted at students who are leaving school for work, apprenticeships or further studies at the end of Year 12. The beginning of the course is very focused on students developing the skills to write a targeted curriculum vitae they can use.
This course offers students a Gateway Programme. The students engage in work experience to gain new skills and knowledge in the workplace, and have the opportunity to gain Unit Standards which contribute to the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA). Time may be made available in class to assist students to catch up with work missed in other subjects while being out on work placement.

Approval for entry to the programme is by the HOD
