Year 11 French (11FRE)

Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

This course focuses on developing communicative skills in the French language with an emphasis on listening, speaking, reading and writing, in familiar contexts. These skills will extend the students so that they can communicate beyond the immediate context, for example, past and future events. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and produce more complex language structures and a variety of text types, focusing on practical situations, which they are likely to encounter in a French-speaking country. Students will produce a digital portfolio for the Interact and Writing standards.
