Year 10 Art Practical HALF Year (10ARPH)

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms S. O'Grady.

Students will investigate line, form, colour, and shape through the theoretical and practical research of established practice with a focus on skill development in Drawing and Painting. The outcome of the course will be a series of experimental and resolved artworks that will be used for display. 

Artworks will be photographed and presented as a digital folio for assessment and as a foundation skill required for senior visual arts pathways. 

This course is essential for students wanting to take 11ARP in year 11. Students can also enter 11ARD with this course on approval

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$50 for take home materials, workbook, brushes etc.

Pathway

This course is highly recommended for students wanting to do Art Practical in year 11

Assessment Information

Summative Assessment is used to measure your overall performance to determine your level of achievement.
FOCUS STUDIES are the main assessment pieces, but judgements are made using evidence from process and classwork as well padlet folio. It is important that you record all items of work and upload them to your padlet folio as the main location for evidence of work.
